Varaha
Varaha is the third avatar(incarnation) of lord Vishnu.Lord Vishnu took a form of a Boar to save the earth from Hiranyaksha who took the earth and placed it in the cosmic ocean(a huge cosmic ocean in some other galaxy).Lord Vishnu killed and placed back the earth to its normal.It is believed that the battle between Varaha and Hiranyaksha lasted for about thousand years.After winning the battle Lord Vishnu married prithvi(Bhudevi,name of the Earth according to the Hindu mythology).
